The Labor Committee is in charge of thoroughly reviewing the collective labor agreements as well as the scale of wages. In addition, they’re constantly finding ways to strengthen the relations with the representatives of the companies that have a contract with SJOIIM.

They have the responsibility of studying with the Labor Relations Manager all incidents that happen to workers affiliated to the union. Regularly attending to Labor Centers is another important task.

The activity of appointing delegates and sub delegates is coordinated by the Labor Committee, as well as giving them special training to talk to the affiliates at the Labor Centers whenever a question arises regarding the general terms of the collective labor agreements, the scale of wages or any other agreement held between the union and the company.
